Meet our Directors!

Dr. Brenda Leonard is the co-founder and Artistic Director of Classical Cape May. She teaches cello online as well as offering online music history courses through the Center for Modern Aging Princeton. She earned her doctorate in cello performance from the University of South Carolina. Brenda also works for Cape May MAC [Museums+Arts+Culture] in Museum Education, coordinating and teaching in their Lunch & Learn program and creating programming for educational outreach. When not working or traveling to visit her children and grandchildren, Brenda likes to read and cook. Her husband, Alan, is the rector of the Episcopal Church of the Advent in Cape May, New Jersey. 

Robert Bullington is the co-founder and Executive Director of Classical Cape May. He holds degrees in music from Loyola University and Boston University. Robert has most recently studied with Elem Eley, at Westminster Choir College and legendary collaborator and coach, Dalton Baldwin. He has served as President of the Music Club of Princeton and on board of directors of the Lotte Lehmann Foundation. Robert is a member of the PolyVoce and Mostly Motets vocal ensembles, both of which have performed in Classical Cape May concerts. Robert is the owner of Front Row Seat Productions LLC, a digital media production company based in Hamilton, N.J.
